Conspiracies, One World Government, and The New World Order

Movies and novels contain many villains who plan to take over the world. The authors must have gotten their ideas from Christians who are the kings and queens of global conspiracy theories. Supposedly, every U.S. president from Carter on, and perhaps farther back, were all part of a secret group who plan to take over the world.

Many preachers spend their whole careers preaching about how this or that group, or even a person, is planning to bring in a one world government. Here are a few:

* The Communists are going to take over the world.
* Gorbechev is the antichrist.
* The Illuminati are planning to takeover the world.
* The Freemasons are planning to takeover the world.
* The European Union is planning a one world government.
* The U.N. is planning a one world government.
* The Skull and Bones Society is planning a one world government.
* Global ecologists are planning a one world government.
* Global economists are planning a one world government.
* The Jews are planning to take over the world.

Yes, there are in fact stupid Christians who believe that the Jews are planning a global takeover, "WORLD CONQUEST THROUGH WORLD JEWISH GOVERNMENT" (http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/przion1.htm)

The above list is just the more popular conspiracy theories among stupid people. Here are a few more:

* The government is watching you through your cable TV connection.
* The CIA and government elites were behind the 9-11 attacks.
* It was not a plane that hit the Pentagon but a missile.
* Computers and satellites will be used by the Antichrist to control the world.
* The Bar code (UPC -- Universal Product Code) is the Mark of the Beast.
* The Jews control the U.S. Republican party.

The people that produce the books and magazines and newsletters promoting such garbage are worse than the spies that went into the Promised Land and came back with a negative report. These guys are proclaiming fear and defeat about what does not even exist! Most of it is a total fiction!
