It is safe to
say that you will probably never find this interpretation anywhere in the world
but here, because God has given me insight into the Bible.
"Take words with you
and return to the LORD. Say to him: "Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously,
that we may offer the fruit of our lips." (Hosea 14:2) (NIV)
This discribes modern-day
church services. The first phrase says, "take words with you." What do people
do when they go to church? They take their Bibles with them. Printed words.
The next phrase says,
"Say to him: "Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously." What do people
do in church? They say, "for give my sins." This is done through the grace
of God, the Gospel.
The next phrase says,
"that we may offer the fruit of our lips." What is the fruit of our lips?
Praise and worship!! And we should get right with God before offering our
praise and worship to HIM.
So you see, this passage
predicts that in the future (from the time it was written over 2,300 years
ago), the children of Israel will become Christians, as many of them have--
the 10 northern tribes that is.
