What Now for Iraq?
by M. Fortner

Saddam was a murderer and a terrorist, and he supported terrorism in Israel and other places, but he was not a religious zealot. With Saddam gone, it opens the door for Iraq to be taken over by Muslim zealots. If you have been watching the news then you know that the Shiites are very radical and are at least 60% of Iraq's population. A future ruler of Iraq could very well be the leader of Islam.

A headline in a recent article in the Washington Post reads, "Iraq Shiites' strength catches U.S. off guard". Benny Hinn stated even before the war started that God told him that the war would not bring much bloodshed, but what will come next will contain much bloodshed. Will they rise up against the American forces in Iraq? Will Iran invade to drive out the Americans? Iran is largely Shiite. Will North Korea become so afraid of invasion by the U.S. that it launches a nuclear strike?

Let us all keep watch for the time of the end is growing closer.
