"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." (Matthew 6:19-21)

This lady is so blind that what she sees in this passage is that we should not strive to store up treasure for OURSELVES, but if we seek first the kingdom (Luke 6:22-31), then God will give us all "these things." This means that God will give us treasure that rusts and that moths eat and that theives break in and steal!! It is not us storing it up, but God storing it up for us; then it's OK.

Are you shocked? If not you need to ask God to give you wisdom and understanding. Ask God to open your eyes so that you will not follow a blind guide and end up in the ditch in the natural and in the spiritual.
